LaoScript 8 and Lao Script for Windows, Version 7

Since Free Editions of LaoScript 8 and Lao Script for Windows, Version 7 are now available and provide all the functionality of the previous licensed editions, Lao Script for Windows no longer supports license activation. Instead, users should simply uninstall the licensed version and download and install either of the free editions.

Lao Script for Windows, Version 6

We do not advise using Lao Script for Windows, Version 6, since it is not compatible with most newer applications, or with any version of Windows after Windows XP. Lao Script for Windows, Version 6 was superseded many years ago and replaced by Lao Script for Windows, Version 7 (for 32-bit applications) and LaoScript 8 (for both 32-bit and 64-bit applications).

It is no longer possible to activate or re-activate licenses for Lao Script for Windows, Version 6.
