Should I use LaoScript 8 or SIL Keyman?

SIL Keyman was initially created as an input method for use with Lao Script for Windows. However, input mapping has been an integral part of Lao Script for Windows since Version 5, supporting both Lao dictionary-based word-wrap and a Lao spell-checker.

If you need use Keyman to edit text in other languages, you can temporarily exit LaoKey (the keyboard mapping component of LaoScript 8) by using the context (pop-up) menu from the Lao icon in the taskbar.
