No activation is needed to use the LaoScript 8 Free Edition.

This page allows you to get an Activation Code for LaoScript 8 or Lao Script for Windows, Version 7, for any computer for which you have the User Key, either for a trial license (to evaluate the licensed editions), or for a purchased license.

If a valid license number and password were used to create the user key, you will receive an Activation Code for that license. Otherwise, if no license number was entered, an activation code for a 30-day trial license will be provided. See Purchasing a license for information about purchasing a license.

How to activate your license

If activation succeeds, an activation code for your license will be returned. This activation code can only be used on the computer that the User Key was created for. Then run the license Activation application again on that machine and enter the Activation Code as prompted.

Which versions can I activate?

It is always best to upgrade to the current version of LaoScript 8 (or Lao Script for Windows, Version 7) before activating (or re-activating) your license, and trial licenses can only be activated for Build 8.0.7.0 (LaoScript 8) and Build 7.3.0.0 (Lao Script for Windows, Version 7), or later. If you are using an earlier release of either version, you must download the current installer before requesting an activation code for a trial license. (This limitation does not apply to purchased licenses.)
